Dead Star Runner

Dead Star Runner is an action driven game where players compete in the Dead Star Runner tournament. An alternative to war, the tournament is where colonies must compete to secure resources. It has become a mass entertainment event fueled by large, nationalistic crowds, multi-planet corporations, and enough destruction to fill several arenas. The racers themselves are criminals sent to represent a colony. They no chance of winning anything other than fame, and the occasional endorsing gig. They are the superstars of the time and the dregs of their community.
